Dilbar is one of the most complex and challenging yachts, both in terms of dimension and technology. With a gross tonnage of 15,917t, Dilbar provides spaces in the interior, which have never been seen on any yacht before.

Her indoor pool holds 180 m³ water and is the largest pool to be built on a yacht. Her diesel electric power plant of 30,000kW is the largest to be installed on any yacht and allows her to operate at a continuous speed of 22.5 knots. A total surface of 10,000 m² has been faired and painted. More than 1,100 km of cabling has been fitted.

"Building Dilbar was a great challenge and we are proud of this achievement, especially considering the contract time of only 52 months. She represents another exceptional milestone in not only our history, but in yachting history as well,” says Shipyard Managing Partner Peter Lürssen.

Under clear guidance and leadership of the Owner, the general arrangement and exterior design was developed by luxury yacht designer Espen Oeino, who has given Dilbar a timeless classical profile which is underlined by the light ivory colour of the hull and the bronze accents.

"We feel honoured and privileged to have been part of this incredible voyage,” says Oeino. “The close cooperation with all parties involved was the catalyst for making the yacht as magnificent as she is."

Her interior design was created at the Andrew Winch Design office in London. Unique mixes of rare and striking materials give her an extraordinary look and feel.

"Dilbar has been a big part of my life. She is special, culturally unique and incredibly detailed in so many ways. We are sure that her Owners will enjoy every space on board,” says Winch.

"Dilbar is a proud example of the size palette Lürssen can build and our order book currently features several yachts starting from 70 m," adds Peter Lürssen.
