“Yes, we have had a lot of rain,” says Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Sales Director Alessandro Tirelli. “But the weather didn’t put off the really interested clients. They still came to see us! So in a way it’s not such a bad thing. In this business, quality counts for more than quantity, and the Open Days is intended to be a personal and invitation-only event. So really we are very happy with the weekend, and never mind the rain!”
“Boat shows are still an important part of our marketing strategy,” notes Custom Line Head of Sales & Marketing Karin Paggi. “The Open Days gives us the chance to introduce new clients to our boats and to take them out for sea trials, which makes everything come alive. That’s not usually an option at boat shows.”
On display over the three days was Ferretti’s ‘Tai He Ban’ collection. The three motor yachts are the outcome of the long-standing cooperation between Italian company Zuccon International Project and Ferretti Group's Engineering Department, representing the epitome of style, elegance and performance; the pinnacle of Italian craftsmanship, and backed by Italian engineering. With the ‘Tai He Ban’ special edition, Ferretti Yachts fine-tuned their yachts aimed specifically at the Asian market.
FY700 employed aerodynamic design, which is evident in the lengthened flybridge, with satellite systems and antennas housed in the Vulcan Grey roll bar above. The long glazed surface on deck runs from stem to stern, cutting through the profile of the yacht. This flybridge yacht can accommodate up to six guests. The one-level walk-through saloon stretches all the way from the aft cockpit to the helm station, and the windows let in much light.
The interior layout of Ferretti Yachts 870 ‘Tai He Ban’ was redesigned and customised, with the bar unit to starboard featuring a high-gloss wooden top and a semi-precious onyx panel front.
The Ferretti Yachts 960 ‘Tai He Ban’ is the brand's largest yacht. This flagship yacht offers three engine options. She is equipped with a pair of 2,638hp 16V M94 engines. It can reach a maximum speed of 30 knots and cruise at 26 knots. She also boasts a sumptuous interior decor features such as marble surfaces and back-lit onyx panelling in the saloon.

“Our Open Days are so important. This is when we really have the time and opportunity to introduce our yachts to our potential clients. We value them deeply,” says Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.
The Ferretti Group Open Days also hosted a breakfast visit for the Sunday Morning Drive group. “We didn’t know you could fit so many Ferraris and Lamborghinis into our Service Yard!” says Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Sales Manager Fabiomassimo Discoli. “It’s great to be able to bring together luxury car lovers and luxury boat enthusiasts – they are perfectly complimentary.”
Another news of Ferretti Yachts is that it is back in the spotlight in Russia thanks to its dealership agreement with Burevestnik Group for the exclusive distribution of the yachts bearing the brand.
“We are proud to make our latest agreement in Russia official with such a strong and consolidated partner as Burevestnik Group,” says Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group Stefano de Vivo. “We decided to focus firmly on this extremely important market in Eastern Europe by choosing to work with an experienced dealer. For us, it is a renewed business opportunity in a vast country, which has always loved Ferretti Yachts and is already home to lots of loyal Owners of yachts of the Group’s other brands. By putting Burevestnik Group and our iconic flybridge yachts together, we have every confidence in the expansion of our potential growth and development and expect the Russian market to give us a lot of satisfaction.”
"We have been present in the market for more than 20 years now, and we are convinced that this new collaboration represents the right choice that will allow both of us to maximise the results in the future,” says Burevestnik Group CEO Andrey Boyko. “I am extremely proud to announce this new dealership and to represent the interests of one of the best shipyards in the world. Today we believe in the potential and strength of our market and we are ready to face the challenges of the future."
