The show will operate across two locations, with the large on-water vessels hosted at the Darling Harbour only a few minutes’ walk from Sydney’s CBD, and the undercover displays housed at the Sydney Exhibition Centre on Glebe Island. Connecting the two is a complementary ferry service that also gives show visitors a bonus voyage across the Sydney Harbour.
The event is known for delivering a comprehensive variety of products, across all boating sectors. The show also has a large number of guests from across the country as well as overseas, making it the ideal location for the marine industry to use as a base to launch new products and services.
The Sydney Exhibition Centre on Glebe Island will host a haven of trailer boats and all the gear for them. Catering for many of the diverse boating tastes, sports boats such as water ski, wake and PWC’s, will be accompanied by family cruisers and fishing vessels. Show research showed than more than half of all visitors to the event have a primary interest in fishing, so fishing rigs and gear for them feature heavily. Kayak, canoes and all sorts of craft will also play a part in a large display of recreational boating fun.
Transport for New South Wales (NSW) will join as Partner in Safety. The department will provide support information at the Boating Safety Zone in the show.
