Parade boats will be decked in festive lights and decorations and set sail towards the Sentosa Boardwalk from ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. Judging will take place in front of VivoCity Promenade and one boat from each of the six categories with the most original and creative decoration based on the theme will win attractive cash prizes totalling over S$18,000.
As everyone is gearing up for the festive season, the Club is also looking at ways to contribute to the less fortunate. Ten NKF patients have been invited to experience an evening cruise at this event, along with 10 boy scouts who will be onboard to chat with them and take care of their needs.
The marina will also run a Christmas Charity Drive in support of the South Central Community Family Service Centre, a beneficiary of the MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) Fund, which assists underprivileged children and youths from troubled or low-income families. Members of the Club and the public are encouraged to contribute by providing donations and gifts such as notebooks, notepads, backpacks, stationary, educational toys or Popular bookstore vouchers. Donations dropped at the Club’s Front Desk will be distributed to the Charity before Christmas.
