Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has sold a new explorer yacht 108 of the CdM Nauta Air range, which counts as the fifth unit of the series sold. The model was bought by a Northern European client, who was impressed by the sistership M/Y Narvalo at the Cannes Yachting Festival Sept 6-11.

The steel and aluminium explorer yacht was built at CdM with sturdy and sleek design, which won the latest ISS Design and Leadership Award 2016 and was also nominated as finalist of the next Showboats Design Awards.

”We are very proud of this new success that closes a great 2016 for CdM, both in sales and in awards for our yachts,” says CdM Sales & Marketing Director Vasco Buonpensiere. “Also, we are thrilled to have this new family among our client Owners: they have an incredible eye on design and their approach to navigation and to the life on board make them perfect ambassadors of our CdM soul”.

“With this contract, Cantiere delle Marche fullfills all the available slots until April 2019 and – as per business plan – it will reach the maximum number of four yachts delivered per year in order to maintain our high standards of quality, customer care and to be faithful to our mantra: we want to be better and better, not bigger,” CdM General Director adds.

Currently, the shipyard is building a Nauta Air 111/15, a Darwin Class 102/14 and a Darwin Class 102/16.
