The 52Steel is a five-deck superyacht with customisation possibilities. The external lines are drawn in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design.
The Technical Department of Sanlorenzo Superyacht division creates features on the aft section including a large swimming pool on the main deck. Its transparent floor allows natural light to filter into the beach club below. This exclusive space features two folding terraces, one on each side of the yacht, serving as platforms with direct access to the sea.
The same area can be quickly transformed into a garage with a controlled flooding system for the storage of a tender up to 8 metres in length. This part of the boat also houses a fully equipped, customised gym for its Owner.
The internal layout hosts a large Owner’s apartment in the bow on the main deck. With two VIP and three guest cabins on the lower deck it allows the Owner to entertain friends and family. It also has two spacious salons, one on the main deck and one on the upper deck. The external living areas are featured on the on the main, upper and sun deck.
Sanlorenzo 52Steel world premiere will take place at the Monaco Yacht Show 2017 (Sept 27-30).
The ceremony took place at the production site in La Spezia. This site is exclusively dedicated to the design and construction of superyachts in metal from 40 up to 80 metres in length.
This site houses other important projects which are currently under construction, such as the second and third units of the 52Steel models, three units of the 460Explorer (42 metres in length) and the first 64-metre superyacht, 64Steel, that will become the new Sanlorenzo flagship.
To celebrate this important event, besides the presence of a number of local dignitaries, the Belgian Owner invited many family and friends. Also included in the celebration were the whole Sanlorenzo workforce who contributed to the building of the first 52Steel over the past two years.
Sanlorenzo also announced the sale of the third 52Steel unit just a few days before the launch of the first hull, taking place on 26th January at the new Superyacht shipyard in La Spezia.
The deal was concluded thanks to the collaboration with West Nautical, an international brokerage company based in the UK, France and Russia, operating in the yachting world for more than 20 years. 52Steel-125 is already under construction and will be delivered to its Owner in 15 months, in April 2018.
Its profile was penned by Officina Italiana Design, offering elegance and sophistication, while the Sanlorenzo Technical Department developed all technical aspects of this innovative project which offers cutting edge technology and industry leading features.
Amongst the groundbreaking elements introduced by Sanlorenzo for this new model is the aft section which incorporates a large pool on the main deck. Thanks to a transparent bottom, natural light fills the below beach club which is an exclusive space accessible by three different opening terraces, one on each side of the yacht, serving as platforms with direct access to the sea. The same area can be quickly transformed into a garage with controlled flooding system for the storage of a tender up to 8 metres in length, with the adjoining space forward being designated as a customised gym for its new Owner.
