Horizon and the owner are collaborating with Dutch yacht designer Cor D. Rover for the exterior styling and features of the CC115. The large size of the family has generated customised design such as the family theatre area on the foredeck, a Hi-Lo swim platform at the back for a seaplane and others.
John Lu, Horizon Yachts CEO, said: “We are very pleased these new owners selected Horizon to build their customised superyacht. It is a great testament to our strength and capabilities as a luxury yacht manufacturer, and it is exciting to partner again with Cor on this project.
“His expertise as a super yacht designer, combined with the unique visions of this experienced owner and our proven build quality ensure this new Horizon CC115 will be nothing short of magnificent.”
Meanwhile, hull one of Horizon E98 motoryacht model will make her global debut at the upcoming Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) from March 23-26.
Both the E98 and the recently debuted RP120 will be on display with Horizon Yacht USA at Ramp 1, slips 101-106, alongside the award-winning E88 skylounge motoryacht, the new E75, and two open catamaran models from the Power Catamaran series: the PC60 and PC52. This showcase marks Horizon’s largest line-up at the PBIBS event.
The E98 is available in skylounge and open bridge versions. On display will be the open bridge layout that incorporates a fixed front glass windshield and EZ2CY side panels that allow the area to easily transition between open-air and enclosed and air-conditioned. She comes with a draft under 6ft.
On this deck, which features a custom bar with seating for five as well as a large dinette, the owner has also incorporated a commercial icebox, hi/low BBQ and storage for lounge chairs. An expansive aft deck and a bow seating area with a dinette and sunpads round out the variety of entertaining spaces.
The model also features a custom interior layout within a 23ft beam that extends the main saloon forward through the space normally occupied by a formal dining room to a pass-through opening into the large country kitchen.
Luxurious fabrics, neutral stones and custom furnishings feature prominently throughout the living areas and the four spacious en suite guest staterooms on the lower deck.
