Having had its world debut in September 2015, the Riva 76’ Perseo was named as ‘Biggest Imported Yacht of 2016' at the Boat of the Year Japan Award at the Japan International Boat Show (March 2-5) at Pacifico Yokohama.

Riva participated at the show via its exclusive dealer Lyu Company, which presented two models of the Open series – the Aquariva Super and Iseo.

Stefano De Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group, commented: “This new victory for Riva 76’ Perseo fills us with pride and satisfaction. With this vessel we have accomplished remarkable success all over the world, which is evidence of its status as a style icon within the coupé fleet.”

The brand reinforced its presence in the Asian market by receiving the award, which will be followed by the global launch of Riva 100’ Corsaro in April in Hong Kong.

The coupé is the result of the collaboration of designer Mauro Micheli, who together with Sergio Beretta founded Officina Italiana Design (the exclusive design studio of the fleet), along with Ferretti Group’s Strategic Products Committee and the Group’s Engineering Department.

Its sporty design is enhanced by more than 40sqm of glass surfaces. The large windows in the hull, used on both walls, are composed of two elliptical surfaces that together form the Riva logo made of polished steel.

The large sun deck is integrated into the aerodynamic lines of the yacht, allowing guests to relax in privacy and provides a place to pilot it from a prime position.
