The model comes with diamond-shaped vertical bows, bevelled hulls, a levitated deckhouse and tall rig. It is the result of collaboration between Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prévost (VPLP), the Italian Nauta Design agency and the Lagoon design department.
Lagoon 52 features infusion-moulding for increased weight saving, use of Alpi reconstituted wood for the interior, vertical glazing for better protection against the sun and a gull-wing bridge deck. The saloon encompasses the lounge and dining table to starboard, while the large U-shaped galley is on port side facing the sea.
With a beam of 28ft 8in and draft of 5ft 1in, it can be powered by two Yanmar 4JH57 engines.
