After the blessing ceremony and the traditional christening with the champagne bottle broken over the bow, the boat has been lowered into the water while at the same time five hundred balloons, three-coloured as on the Italian flag, soared into the air.
A live music band entertained the nearly 400 guests on the pier near the launch area where it has been set up a rich cocktail and a lounge area to carry on with the celebrations.
M/Y Aurora, an aluminium superyacht, juxtaposes the owner’s passion for sport and adventure with a luxuriously detailed and modern interior living space. Car-racing cues and sporty elements are expanded to super-yacht proportions.
Aurora features a spacious, open concept layout, with three large social areas, including a sunbathing area or beach saloon. The beach area precedes a completely open dining space that maintains privacy without compromising the exposure to the outdoors.
This yacht has multiple expansive windows offering panoramic views, the result of two cuts, like two vents in a sports car, along the bow of the boat. Aurora’s two owners’ cabins, each with views of the water, are equipped with 55m balconies for alfresco dining. Aurora’s garage is capable of accommodating two tenders, a number of jet skis and scuba diving equipment.
