Singapore Yacht Show to exhibit world-class yachts

From April 6-9, some of the world’s most prestigious yachts will be docked at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove for the 2017 Singapore Yacht Show (SYS).

Exhibitors include local boating industry players Azimut Singapore, Boat Lagoon Yachting, Hong Seh Marine, SG Boating, Simpson Marine, as well as leading international brands Ferretti Group, Grand Banks, Gulf Craft, Princess Yachts, Sunseeker and Sunreef, alongside many others.
Visitors will also be able to meet many superyacht builders, including Amels, Baglietto, Benetti, Echo Yachts, Feadship, Fincantieri, Heesen, Lürssen, Sanlorenzo, Westport and SilverYachts, with the latter showcasing an Asia debut, the 77m Silver Fast, the largest yacht to be on display at SYS. Benetti Yachts will also display its 65m superyacht Ambrosia. The Norman-Foster designed Ocean Emerald will also be on display.
This year will see new exhibits and returning favourites on display from Funair, U-Boat Worx, alongside Marine Commerce’s new underwater drone. The adrenaline-fuelled on-water demonstration platform will return for more adventurous visitors to trial the latest in water toys for themselves.
The Show’s jam-packed social programme includes a number parties, many of which will take place onboard yachts and on exhibitor’s on-water hospitality lounges. The annual Asia Boating Awards on April 5, as well as a series of supercar parades and fashion shows will provide entertainment for visitors, while the SYS & Yisin Chinese Regal Night will be a highlight for visitors from China. There will also be fashion shows, VIP Lounges, Guerlain Ladies High Tea and a black tie gala dinner.

Yacht inflatables company FunAir has partnered with Singapore Yacht Show to enable guests to experience more of the yachting lifestyle at the VIP floating Lounge on board 25m custom built Lady QuickGlow.
FunAir will have a Yacht Climbing Wall deployed from the large deck area into the water, alongside one of its latest products, Yacht Golf.
FunAir will also be representing its partnership with Oceanemo the Sports Utility Yacht. A scaled model of the yacht will sit on a digital display, with 3D printed models of a full compliment of FunAir inflatables. This can be found in the cool air-conditioned lounge inside Lady QuickGlow.

Visitors to the Show can also explore the depths of the sea from land with the U-boat Worx underwater virtual reality dive experience. Triton Submarines will also be exhibiting at the Show with their state-of-the-art submersibles.
Marine Commerce will be showcasing its Deep Trekker, a remotely operated vehicle (ROV). Essentially an underwater drone, this remotely operated vehicle has been designed to make underwater observation easy and affordable.
SYS 2017 promises a flurry of social activity, from cocktail parties and fashion parades to supercar displays and pop-up bars, the social calendar is jam-packed with parties, events and entertainment. The Esplanade will be transformed into The Lawn, a pop-up hospitality area with food outlets and a DJ to create the ultimate lounge experience.
The on-water Boater’s Bar is the setting for a chic Lanson Champagne Lounge together with a brand new Whisky Bar offering the Singleton Sensorium’s immersive virtual reality experience. Special Guests can head to a chic, re-designed VIP Lounge where they can enjoy the cocktail-making prowess of Diageo Reserve’s world class mixologists, while relaxing in style thanks to furniture partners ipse ipsa ipsum who will be showcasing their handcrafted pieces.
As the official Luxury Motor Vehicle Partner of SYS 2017, BMW will offer visitors an opportunity to be up close and personal with their flagship sedan, the BMW 7 Series, as well as the chance to learn more about the recently launched BMW 5 Series.
