The new flagship in Azimut Yachts’ Grande Collection – Grande 35 Metri was previewed at the first edition of Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous (May 11-14) in Viareggio.

The yacht is currently under construction. The concept and exteriors of the model have been designed by Stefano Righini, while the interiors are designed by renowned architect Achille Salvagni. The model has a 7.5m beam. 

The yacht has a wide body with Raised Pilot House (RPH) and the exteriors feature full-height windows in both the bow and saloon. An additional sundeck of almost 30m2 on a third level with access from the upper deck in the stern is available upon request. 

The superstructure and hardtop of Grande 35 Metri are made from carbon fibre, along with Epoxy. It boasts a side garage for a 5m tender plus a 3.25m Jet-ski, leaving the stern free for a 12m2 beach area and the swim platform.

The yacht has a five-cabin layout – the owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest cabins (two double and two twin) below deck. 

Other standout features include the private balcony in the owner’s suite on the main deck, the spiral staircase that connects all the decks with backlit onyx, and the Displacement to Planing (D2P) hull that was designed by Pierluigi Ausonio with the Azimut Benetti Research & Development Centre.  The hull is combined with a wave piercer to improve fuel efficiency.

Powered with two MTU 16V2000 M93 engines ratedf 2,400hp each, Grande 35 Metri has an estimated cruising speed of 21 knots and a top speed of 25.5 knots.
