The fourth edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show from April 29-May 2, organised by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA), at the port of Nafplion attracted over 300 visitors and 96 registered yachts representing 21 countries. There were 25 exhibitors displaying ancillary services and yachting supplies.

The President of the Greek Yachting Association, Michael Skoulikidis, launched the event on April 29, along with Minister of Tourism Elena Kountoura, Regional Governor of the Peloponnese Petros Tatoulis and Mayor of Nafplion Dimitris Kostouros at the cocktail reception at the Palamidi Fortress.

Leading international yacht charter companies were present at this year’s show once again, including Atalanta Golden Yachts, Camper & Nicholsons, Edmiston & Company, Fraser Yachts, Yachting Partners International, Burgess, CharterWorld, CSO Yachts, IYC, Northrop & Johnson, Yachtzoo, Luxury Charter Group, West Nautical, GB Superyachts etc. Representatives of The Worldwide Yachting Association (MYBA) also attended the event.

MYBA presented a seminar on the topic of ‘MYBA & the East Med’, conducted by Fiona Maureso, the President of MYBA along with Annemarie Gathercole, a member of MYBA and GYA members.

Over 24 gatherings and events, some of which are themed, took place during the show. One of the highlights of the event is the Chef’s Compeition, in which the esteemed Michelin star chefs Ettore Botrini and Lefteris Lazarou were amongst the panel of judges.

The winners of the competition were announced at the farewell party on the last day at Karathonas Beach.

The show was organised by the Greek Yachting Association under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism with the support of the Municipality of Nafplion and the Region of the Peloponnese.
