Ferretti Group’s sub-brand Custom Line has launched Navetta 33, the second model in the new series (first model being Navetta 37) to take to water and the third project in the Navetta series, on June 15 at its Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy, which built a number of other models including Navetta 38 – a 37m yacht with five units sold in a year – and flagship Navetta 42, the first of which is under construction.

The company will hold an exclusive preview event for Navetta 33 – Midsummer Dream – in Lio, a nightclub at Ibiza Marina and the Experimental Beach on July 29-30.

The new model will also be showcased at the Ferretti Group’s Private Preview in Monte Carlo from September 8-10 at Yacht Club de Monaco – a few days before the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 12-17). Navetta 33 will also be displayed at the Monaco Yacht Show (September 27-30).

The new 33m-yacht is the result of the joint efforts of the Product Strategy Committee, headed by Piero Ferrari along with Studio Zuccon International Project for the exterior design and the Group’s Engineering Department for the interior design.

The semi-displacement superyacht comes with a bulbous bow that delivers 2,000nm at economic cruising speed. Five cabins accommodate guests across four decks: the master suite is located forward on the main deck, while the four guests cabins situate on the lower deck.

Thanks to the external panoramic terrace on the starboard main deck and the sliding windows on the aft upper deck, the lounge areas and interior and exterior dining areas are spacious and bright, while the sun deck with a swimming pool and a large sun pad offers privacy.

Other features include the patented DMT system for optimal use of the stern area, the VOTIS software to provide on-board infotainment systems, an integrated helm station and a hi-fi system. A flexible joint in the transmission lines can absorb shaft vibrations. The floating floor beneath the parquet flooring helps reduce the transmission of noise to the living areas by softening any footfall.

The yacht is equipped with electro-hydraulic stabilising fins and three engine options are available: MAN 1,400hp, MAN 1,600hp, CAT 1,622hp.

Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, said: “The Navetta 33 will define the nautical landscape in the years to come with its irresistible beauty. Thanks to its special charm and its innovative features, cutting-edge technology and superior design, it outclasses every other boat within the same category. It’s essentially in a league of its own. It is uniquely chic, upgrading luxury to the pure sophistication that every yacht owner desires in order to enhance the pleasure of yachting. I am not surprised that we’ve already sold five units ahead of its presentation.”
