Inspired by Jeanneau 54, the 51-footer was the brainchild of naval architect Philippe Briand and designer Andrew Winch.
The model was named Best Sailboat (up to 65 feet) at the Asia Boating Awards 2017 by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines among eight yachts nominated in the same category.
Meanwhile, the shipyard also gathered nearly 300 dealers from around the world from July 7-10 for the annual International Jeanneau Dealer Meeting on a cruise ship in Greece. The shipyard has added 20 new dealerships to its list.
The French shipyard was established in 1957, when Henri Jeanneau constructed a wooden hull at the back of the family hardware shop in Les Herbiers and raced that in 6 Heures de Paris with victory, which fuelled his passion and commitment in boatbuilding as his profession.
The participants were among the first to discover the shipyard’s new models for 2018.
