Aquila celebrates one-year anniversary of US sales hub

Chinese shipyard Aquila Power Catamarans has celebrated one-year anniversary of its US sales hub at MarineMax St. Petersburg on August 19.

Aquila 44 and 36 provided personal tours for guests, who were also treated with music, light hors d’oeuvres, and refreshing drinks.
Harry Mountain, Aquila Brand Manager, said: “St. Petersburg has been an incredible home for Aquila for this past year. Being centrally located in the state of Florida has helped the brand grow tremendously.”
Aquila was launched in 2012 by a team of experts from multiple developments, design, and manufacturing firms including Sino Eagle Group, J&J Design Group, Seaway and MarineMax.
To position itself to become a prominent boat builder, Sino Eagle Group, built a new factory, which provided the Aquila brand with full in-house manufacturing capabilities.
Since then, Aquila has released their full line of models including the Aquila 48, Aquila 44, and the all-new Aquila 36 with the Aquila 60 to debut in 2019.
Joshua Lavine, MarineMax St. Petersburg Store Manager, said: “The entire Aquila line is available to tour and demo here at MarineMax St. Petersburg. Improvements made to our store in the last year include a redesigned sales center and brand-new marina. With direct access to the beautiful Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, it's the perfect slip space for Aquila. We are excited for the opportunity to share this unique and growing brand with our customers.”
