The Azimut 60 was awarded the Best Layout Trophy in the 50’ to 80’ category while the Azimut Grande 27 Metri wins the Most Achieved Trophy in the 80’ to 125’ category. The other two were the Azimut Grande 35 Metri and the Azimut S7, which triumphed with the Best Interior Design Trophy in the 80’ to 125’ category and the Best Technology Evolution Trophy respectively.
The Azimut 60 is the result of a design partnership between Stefano Righini for the exteriors and Achille Salvagni for the interiors.
It has three cabins and three bathrooms below deck and a dinette that doubles as a second lounge area by lowering the up/down table.
The Azimut Grande 27 is designed by Stefano Righini. The wide-bodied boat has features of a vertical bow and big full-height windows, which rise from the hull and extend up into the superstructure, giving the boat a sporty character.
Yet another recognition for the Shipyard’s flagship 35 Metri widebody, in which the shape of the interiors were helmed by Salvagni, has the owner’s suite on the main deck with a private balcony.
The section of the full-height window with a carbon fibre frame folds out, while the floor of the balcony extends from under the cabin, protected by automatic stanchions.
The Azimut S7, designed by Stefano Righini and Francesco Guida, is the new arrival in the shipyard’s sports collection with increasingly sporty lines.
Three Volvo IPS engines and carbon fibre deliver performance and size, with 2m headroom on both the main and lower decks.
Organised by French magazine Yachts France, winners of The World Yachts Trophies awards are determined by a panel of international judges.
