While working on its new catamaran line, the shipyard’s in-house designers have been looking for ways to express the spirit of a classic sail yacht through modern marine architecture. What was born was an all-around sailing leisure yacht range for getaways, charter and transoceanic adventures. The first launch is set for 2018.
Purity, space and light are the essential elements of the newest sail range with a combination of exterior and interior areas easily flowing into one another.
The boats' bridge deck and superstructure design allow for an onboard comfort potential and also generous teak use and high bulwarks.
With a new superstructure concept, the range gains a saloon plan with potential for customisation. Offering a central lounging space with a panoramic view and layout possibilities, it opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit.
The bow benefits from a lounge shielded from sun and wind. To the aft, the saloon merges with the cockpit extended with a large aft platform.
The new four-model line will comprise units ranging from compact to superyacht. With four already commissioned, Sunreef Yachts unveiled the range’s first details during the Cannes Yachting Festival, presenting a scale model of a 60-footer due for launch in 2018.
A more voluminous catamaran is to join the range next, expanding Sunreef Yachts’ new offer of multihulls.
