Inspired by the 50’s and 60’s muscle car and sports car design, the Milan-based designer Federico Fiorentino created Zephyr’s exterior.
The 180-footer features a 300sqm beach area covering the aft deck, which leads to an elevated sun-bathing terrace.
Her 5m long swimming pool has transparent walls leading to the sea and care has been taken to ensure the view from every point on the decks is exceptional.
This vision of openness is carried throughout the interior of Zephyr by Pisa-based interior design firm Pulina.
Interior spaces are wide and the surfaces are transparent or reflective, emphasising ocean view. Large windows, imposing heights and a mix of natural and artificial light contribute to bringing the outside in.
She has a five-cabin layout which can accommodate up to 19 people including the crew.
The yacht’s Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) is a radical new concept patented by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, the Netherlands-based naval architects and hydrodynamicists with over 25 years of experience in yacht architecture and hull optimisation. It allows Zephyr to deliver more speed and more interior space than the previous generation of hulls.
The FDHF will revolutionise the flexibility in superyacht length and tonnage for future yacht design.
Fitted with two MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines, Zephyr can reach a top speed of 32 knots.
