Azimut Yachts is working with Alberto Mancini as the exterior designer of the Azimut S10, the new flagship of the S Collection, and Vincenzo De Cotiis, who’s doing the interiors of the Magellan 25m from the Azimut Grande Collection.

During the Milan Design Week at the Teatro dell'Arte, the Italian brand presented the exclusive collaborations with the two designers, alongside its latest generation boat – the Azimut S7.

The S flagship is a megasailer equipped with multi-level terraces which ensures onboard liveability. The use of carbon – which replaces the steel manrope as well – and black fibre in full view, enhance the sporty feel of the model.

On the Magellan yacht, De Cotiis surprises us with the ornamental use of glass fibre, a purely decorative function. Attention has been paid to the sense of continuity and depth of space, with various irregular forms of geometry and lines.

Both yachts are expected for 2019, the year in which Azimut Yacht will celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Giovanna Vitelli, Azimut-Benetti Group Vice President, said: “From ten years now we have been searching, out of the industry, for leading architects who introduce a new language on our yachts, with completely different stylistic codes, expressed by evolving and contemporary projects.

“We have thus created new paradigms that embrace the boat object with the most recent stylistic and lifestyle evolution, following a more contemporary and current way of living the spaces on board.”
