The launching ceremony took place in the Navicelli area in Pisa, in the presence of its owner, his family and friends, both the Pisa and Viareggio city authorities, the Balducci family and everyone who contributed to the creation of the vessel.
“In the automotive sector, the definition of GranSport is synonym with high performance and optimal comfort,” said Maurizio Balducci, CEO of Overmarine Group. “These principles have been the key starting point for the creation of the new line. We translated them and applied them to our business, giving life to a model that is an authentic combination of excellence between performance and autonomy.”
“The El Leon-debut makes us truly happy and proud. We launched an extraordinarily beautiful ship, which introduces herself to the world with unique features.”
She features a Jacuzzi and swimming pool that dominates the bow sun bridge, a glass floor bringing light to the master suite below, and a central bar on flybridge.
Thanks to four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines and its stabilisers, El Leon can reach a top speed of almost 30 knots and a cruising range of 3,500 miles.
The Mangusta GranSport line is designed by Alberto Mancini, which reflects the muscular and dynamic lines typical of Mangusta but with the aggressiveness suited to a sporty RPH yacht.
