The three proud deliveries are two FD87 Skylines and one FD85 motor yachts. Known for its contemporary style lines, flexible cruising speeds and spacious interior volume, the FD series will see an additional four models – three FD87s and one FD85 – to be delivered by June 2019, to American, Australian, and European markets.
In addition, the FD77, a new model of the series, is in built and will make her debut in the first quarter of 2019.
As for under 80ft, the four deliveries include the first V68, and PC52 and PC60 power catamarans. With her ‘superyacht attitude’, the V68 was well received during her U.S. debut earlier this year, with increased enquiries since the show.
A new V81 will be delivered this summer to her owner, provided 2018 is the 10th anniversary of the V series. In the next few months, four new PC series builds – including the newest PC65 – will be delivered to her owners in the U.S. for blue-water cruising.
An exciting new build order for the CC115 superyacht will be finishing in the third quarter. She is a customised raised pilothouse that was designed in collaboration with Cor D. Rover. Her experienced owners loved the RP models but wanted something a little bit different – the owners outfitted their superyacht with a Portuguese bridge around the bridge deck. This new CC115 is currently in dry dock testing stage, with completion scheduled in September.
Two E series models – one E88 for the U.S. and an E75 for the Australian market – will be delivered in July and November respectively. In the spring of 2019, another E75 will be delivered to her Australian owners, and an E98 motor yacht will be completed in July 2019. These models were designed by John Lindblom.
John Lu, CEO of Horizon Yachts, said, “This stable increase of new yacht builds represents the high level of trust each owner bestows to Horizon Yachts. We are not merely building yachts for our clients, we are building a dream. With on-going growth in the third quarter and optimistic signs for the fourth quarter, we look forward to continuing success for Horizon into the 2019 year.”
