The R35 is the first Princess R Class performance sports yacht and is the product by Ben Ainslie Racing Technologies and the Italian design house Pininfarina. Combined with the carbon fibre hull, she delivers comfort and efficiency with the use of racing technology through a foiling system.
The X95 is a ‘super flybridge’ which architecture is rethought. Its flybridge and main deck span almost the full length of the yacht, offering space and flexibility to customers who wish to spend more time aboard to explore cruising grounds further afield.
The Y85 Motor Yacht features the latest Princess design and styling, which its sweeping lines ensure her striking presence on the water.
The F45 compact flybridge features a full beam owner’s cabin, extended flybridge and an electrically sliding transom that increases the size of the cockpit area at the touch of a button.
Last but not least, the V55 and V78 are new models of the V Class sports yacht range. The flagship V78 has large hull glazing, while the V55 is defined by long, flowing lines that extend the full length of the yacht and has a hideaway patio door that quickly converts her from a deck saloon to an open yacht.
With exciting new launches planned for Autumn and a full order book (covering 100 per cent of 2018 production and 75 per cent of 2019 production), the British builder records a 50 per cent revenue increase for the first half of 2018, compared with 2017 H1. Its profitability is also more than double of 2017’s full-year EBITDA result.
With orders even stretching into 2020, Princess has increased production volume by 30 per cent to target almost 300 yachts this year.
Antony Sheriff, Executive Chairman of Princess Yachts, commented, "The intensity of our new product programme has already brought outstanding results as customers relish the unique combination of craftsmanship, elegance, quality, performance and customer care that are core to every Princess yacht.
“These next six new models raise the bar much higher with unprecedented use of innovative technologies, materials, architectural concepts and design solutions; we hope to be setting the standard for yacht producers for many years to come."
Princess’s launch programme and financial result is underpinned by a five-year £100 million investment programme, now into its third year and fully on track. The investment supports new products and technologies, and expansion of the management team to bring in new experience, techniques and yacht concepts.
