Like each design in the SeaXplorer range, the 75 model benefits from Damen’s approach of design and engineering which clients can fully customise the technical platform to their requirements. The first two SeaXplorer projects have been sold, and is now under construction for delivery in 2020.

“The SeaXplorer 75 is a yacht for all seasons for clients who want to make more use of their time to explore the world,” commented Rose Damen, Managing Director. “The SeaXplorer 75 offers serious global capability but with true superyacht refinement at home in any marina. We’ve also designed her to be customised to our client’s bespoke requirements.”

The keel laying of a customised version of the SeaXplorer 75 took place in July.

The SeaXplorer 75 offers accommodation for 12 guests with an owners apartment, two VIP suites and the range’s iconic bow point observation lounge and outdoor deck.

The large volume of 2,650GT explains her inventory of expedition equipment, including two helicopters with certified helideck and below-deck hangar, dive centre and two tender garages (fore and aft). She can remain on station in remote areas for several weeks, with provisions, fuel, waste water holding tanks and garbage management for up to 40 days of luxury service with no port calls.

Damen developed the SeaXplorer range of five designs up to 100m (328ft) with its design partners Amels and Damen Research, as well as operational design input from EYOS Expeditions and exterior styling by Azure Yacht Design.

The Damen SeaXplorer range is designed, engineered and built in cooperation with the same team behind the Damen Yacht Support range and the Amels Limited Editions range of superyachts.

The three ranges make up the yachting division of the Damen Shipyards Group – a global family-owned enterprise with 34 shipyards around the world, 10,000 employees and more than 6,000 vessels delivered.
