The ‘Private Preview’, titled ‘Fields of Gold’ this year, is an annual appointment dedicated to the presentation in preview of the entire Ferretti fleet. The star enchanted audience with a line-up of hits from both of his solo career and band, the Police. Such included ‘If I ever lose my faith in you’, ‘Every breath you take’, ‘Message in a bottle’, ‘Fragile’ and ‘Fields of gold’.

“Eclectic and refined musician, Sting has been collecting hits for over 40 years reinterpreting his unique musical style,” said Ferretti Group CEO, Alberto Galassi. “Pushed by my personal friendship and admiration for this incredible artist, I am proud to have made Sting protagonist of our unmissable annual event in Monte Carlo.

“The star honoured us with a very exciting concert, intimate and amusing at the same time; an unrepeatable performance reserved for our ship owners and the members of the Yacht Club de Monaco inaugurating the ‘Private Preview’: two days of onboard visits and sea trial on the Group’s fleet, including six world première.”

“Consistent with our project ‘Monaco, Capital of Yachting’, we are happy, just a few days from the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show, to give the start to the autumn season of the ‘Grande Plaisance’ on the Côte d'Azur,” said Bernard d'Alessandri, General Secretary of the Yacht Club of Monaco.

“Thanks to the collaboration of Ferretti Group, it was a great pleasure for us to welcome an artist like Sting, both for his musical talent and for his commitment to preservation and protection of the environment, a value dear to the Yacht Club de Monaco and the principality. His outstanding performance was the further proof, we are all mad about him.”

Ferretti Group world premieres – the Navetta 42, Custom Line 120’, Riva 66’ Ribelle, Riva 110’ Dolcevita flybridge, Ferretti Yachts 670 and CRN 50 Metri Latona, were moored at the Yacht Club docks. They are all displayed at Cannes until September 16.
