Dubai International Boat Show (February 28-March 4) marks 25-year milestone with global showcase as spectacular new developments look to boost thriving boating and watersports community. The event will be organised by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The multi-award winning show showcases the latest leisure boats, equipment and associated services in the Middle East. Exhibitors include both local and international boat manufacturers as well as the latest innovations in marine equipment and supplies. More than 26,000 international and local visitors attend including key buyers from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The event will take place at Dubai International Marine Club, which is set to be an integral part of Dubai Harbour, the new waterfront development which will reinforce the Emirate’s status as a global marine industry destination and a regional hub for yachting, boating and water sports.
The 20 million square foot Dubai Harbour project features a 135m high tower, Dubai Lighthouse, housing a luxury hotel and an observation deck. It will also have a 150,000sqft cruise liner terminal capable of handling 6,000 passengers, as well as entertainment and retail space, a yacht club, shopping mall, hotels and residences.
