Queensland’s biggest boat show, Gold Coast International Boat Show & Marine Expo (March 17-19), will again be held at Gold Coast Marine Precinct in Coomera and by early February over 90 per cent of exhibitor space was sold or reserved.
Emma Brown, Event and Marketing Manager, said: “We are the busiest we have been in seven years. Bookings and enquiries across both the marina and our hardstand space from a very wide variety of exhibitor categories point to an even bigger showcase than our largest-ever Expo in 2016.
“The key driver for the change of dates to March is to stage the Gold Coast International Boat Show & Marine Expo right in the heart of Australia’s boating industry capital at Coomera at a time when enthusiasts have boating top of mind.
“Boating enthusiasts will be able to see all the new-year releases first right here. Our show will feature luxurious motor yachts and stylish sailing vessels, a vast array of tenders and trailer boats, engines, marine accessories and equipment.”
Operated and managed by the Boating Industry Association, the show will stage many world, Australian and Queensland premieres.
Catamarans will take centre stage, with Multihull Solutions, The Multihull Group and Multihull Central among the exhibitors. Luxurious French-built yachts on show will include the Lagoon 42, Jeanneau NC9 and Fountaine-Pajot M37.
