UK-based company Flying Fish, known for its manufacturing of commercial craft for safety and rescue, showcased their sleek new two-seater hovercraft at the recent London Boat Show.

Designed specifically as a superyacht tender, the platinum black hovercraft was displayed as part of the show’s luxury brands segment, which featured a range of companies from across the luxury goods sector, including watches, jewellery, home products, finance, leisure and health.

Built for two people, the craft is ultra lightweight thanks to the use of carbon fibre and Kevlar, and a teak-effect deck. Blue spot lighting and chrome deck fittings give it a very stylish appearence.

It can lift off from a standing or floating start on water or land, and manage a top speed of 50mph thanks to its 50-bhp, four-stroke ‘Rampage’ engine. This hovercraft can operate on a wide range of surfaces including mudbanks, ice, and sand and sells for around £17,200.
