Sunreef Yachts has just announced that the first unit of its ‘ready-to-sail’ yacht, Sunreef 60 LOFT, was launched earlier this month. Following her official presentation to her owner and guests in Gdansk, Grace is now undergoing final sea trials before her departure to the US, where she will operate along the eastern seaboard as well as in the Caribbean this winter. The yacht will also be available for charter through Sunreef Yachts Charter.

This luxury pret-a-porter-type yacht concept is based on the company’s 10 years of experience, extensive knowledge and understanding of owners’ needs and it includes all the essential options and equipment for comfortable sailing and onboard living. Grace can comfortably accommodate six guests in three spacious cabins, located in the hulls, and two crew in the aft port cabin. A fully equipped open galley, with both Siemens and Gorenje appliances, located in the portside hull connects directly with the saloon on the main deck by way of a transparent glass that turn opaque at the touch of a button. The cockpit and the saloon are both located on the same level and connected with a large sliding door, which enhances the impression of one seamless space. The combination of light-colored upholstery, the floor made of light rustic oak and Canaletto walnut furniture with black high-gloss panels makes the interior look exceptionally elegant.

The yacht’s features a carbon mast with canoe boom, both produced in-house, a square top mainsail and Brunton’s folding propellers. There is ample innovative illumination on the yacht, including LED-lit stairs to the flybridge, with illumination in cockpit and on the flybridge tables. There are also four underwater OceanLED lights.

Grace is extremely easy to handle, even for a single crewmember, thanks to the ingenious placement of the sailing gear within easy reach of the flybridge and her electric winches. She has two Yanmar 110-horsepower engines and a davit system to launch the dinghy from the aft platform. Her expected speeds should be between 12 and 15 knots under sail. As a ready-to-go vessel, all electrical, plumbing, hydraulic systems and her Williams tender are included in the fixed price.

Her impeccable construction quality, customization, very luxurious finish and great seaworthiness make for a compact and light vessel with all the distinguishing features of a Sunreef 60 LOFT.

The LOFT yacht concept was been unveiled in April this year and has already resulted in two sales and numerous enquiries since Grace’s launch. Further great interest is expected among catamarans enthusiasts.
