The stunning Princess S72 was unveiled at this week’s Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show. Fitted with twin Caterpillar or MAN engines from 1622hp to 1800hp, the S72 promises to handle every bit as well as she looks. The proven deep-V hull and low centre of gravity delivers class-leading ride quality, with speeds expected to pass 37 knots, and a highly efficient cruising range.

In the cockpit, the Princess design team created a 3.9m tender garage, able to take a jet RIB plus a whole range of toys. Above the garage lies a vast sunpad area, and there is plenty of room for a deep and wide surround of cockpit seating and a full wet bar.

Below decks, a three-cabin layout includes a full-beam master stateroom enjoying those S CLASS angled hull windows and a new take on interior design and finish. Princess’s Director of Creative Design, Sarah Verey, has put together an exclusive range of materials, furniture and detailing for S CLASS.

Princess S72 Debuts In Miami

“We have delivered a next generation interior for a next generation Princess. Across the S72 you will see a completely new level of finish, with bespoke contemporary furniture and textured silk panelling mixing with polished steel and Macassar Ebony. Black, silver and white finishes lend a fresh modernity to the interior, whilst our strong British heritage is retained through classically toned leathers and herringbone linings,” Verey says.

The interior cabinetry is offered in optional Rovere Oak and American Walnut, as well as the standard Light Oak and Serotina Cherry.

S72 hull #2 is in production and the S80 is scheduled to launch next year, with two more S CLASS models planned.
