Seahawk, the first yacht in the Perini Navi 60-metre series, has won the Holistic Design Award presented during the Showboats Design Awards 2014 ceremony at the elegant Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, Austria.

The Holistic Design Award is awarded yearly to the yacht that represents “the finest example of a harmonious combination of interior and exterior design”. On top of her strong visual impact, the jury of experts saw in Seahawk a perfect synergy amongst spaces, functionality, practicality and innovation.

Seahawk has innovative hull lines and technological solutions to guarantee speed and performance under sail. These are combined with even more ample and comfortable interior volumes that make this first yacht in the new generation Perini Navi series unique.

Among the many technological innovations, the yacht has improved furlers designed by the Perini Navi Mast department and winches that are faster to manoeuvre and more powerful than ever. The interiors, penned by the French designer Christian Liaigre, have a refined contemporary allure with strong ties to maritime tradition.

Now in its fifth edition, the ShowBoats Design Awards brings the specialist design skills of the superyacht industry’s most talented teams into the spotlight. Honouring the craftsmen and innovators responsible for the exceptional new superyacht designs on the water, the golden Neptune awards have become a symbol of pride and distinction for yacht design professionals.
