The Taiwan International Boat Show (TIBS) is returning to the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center and Horizon City Marina (Mar 10-13) for its second edition of the show.

The show promises to bring a touch of glamour to the country’s southern port city and provide plenty of business opportunities for global marine firms wanting to break into the lucrative Asian market.

Twenty-eight domestic yacht manufacturers, including Global Yacht Builders Co., Monte Fino Yachts, Morningstar Boats, Novatec Yachts Taiwan, Lohas Ocean, Grand Harbour Yachts, Hsing Hang Marine Industries Co. and Tachou Ship Building Co., will be showcasing yachts alongside sixteen international brands, including Princess Yachts Taiwan, Bavaria, Delta, Galeon, Imexus, Jeanneau, Kimple, Marinekart, and Monte Carlo.

Simpson Marine Taiwan will be showcasing top models from the number-one sailing boat builder in the world, Beneteau Group with a Lagoon 450 catamaran, an Oceanis 38 sailing yacht and the MC6, a power boat from the Monte Carlo range.

Taiwan’s biggest yacht-exporter, Horizon Group, will be bringing three large boats to TIBS, including an RP120 raised pilothouse superyacht. At 120ft, it will be the largest yacht at the show. Taiwan-based Ocean Alexander, a first-time exhibitor, and New Ocean Yachts will also be displaying models in excess of 80ft.
