The International Multihull Show took advantage of some windy weather to blow out the candles celebrating its 10th anniversary, which saw over 60 multihull boats, setting a new record, and 14,000 visitors.
Founded in 2010 in Lorient, this event is dedicated to cruising multihulls, both sail and motor. It was developed in the heart of the Mediterranean in La Grande Motte in Hérault, France.

This latest edition was once again crowned with success and boat builders widely expressed their satisfaction after seeing their order books fill up. This year will be remembered for the large number of visitors from abroad from all sorts of places, who accounted for a large proportion of the sales that were signed here.
The success of this show is a consequence of the development of the multihull industry. The diversity and quantity of catamarans and trimarans displayed here confirm the enthusiasm generated by this new way of sailing; the living quarters, the comfort of sailing and the small draught of these boats are the major advantages of this type of vessel.

The whole of the sector is working with this development and all the major equipment makers, charter firms, sail-makers, marine electronics suppliers and insurance companies among others attended this event. The dates for the 2020 edition have been set for five days from April 15-19.
