Pershing 140: Tradition and Innovation in Aluminium Superyachts
The Pershing 140 is not only the brand’s latest flagship but also the first model constructed in aluminium — a monumental shift for Ferretti Group. With contributions from architect Fulvio De Simoni and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the Pershing 140 merges 30 years of craftsmanship with groundbreaking design and technology.
Power and Performance
Designed for high performance, the Pershing 140’s 43.3-metre hull boasts extraordinary hydrodynamic capabilities. The yacht is powered by four MTU 16V2000 M96L engines, each delivering 2,600 HP, propelling this superyacht to a top speed of 38 knots. Combining speed with luxury, the yacht’s aluminium construction adds agility without compromising the robust structure, offering a thrilling yet stable ride.
Innovative Design and Layout
One of the most striking aspects of the Pershing 140 is its versatile three-deck layout, which maximizes enjoyment of both indoor and outdoor spaces. Some standout design features include:
- Raised Cockpit. The first Pershing to feature a raised cockpit connected to the sun deck, enhancing privacy and comfort.
- Owner-Dedicated Suite. Located on the main deck, this private suite offers luxury with a view, customizable to the owner’s tastes.
- Beach Club Area. Expandable with foldout sides, this area joins the aft deck with water-level seating and easy access to water activities.
- Garage Space. Equipped for both a Williams 565 tender and a jet ski, with convenient access for launch operations.
The yacht’s sleek exterior lines capture Pershing’s sporty DNA while adding a modern edge with details like an optional steel grid on the bow and the iconic lateral wings.
Tailored Luxury in Every Corner
Owners of the Pershing 140 can personalize every inch of their yacht, assisted by the expert team at Studio Fulvio De Simoni and Ferretti Group’s Project Architects. The aft area is reimagined with a raised cockpit, creating a mezzanine level that offers an open yet private beach club space. The interiors reflect high-end comfort with natural light flooding into spacious lounges, dining areas, and the master suite. Below deck, four guest suites and crew quarters offer maximum comfort and privacy.
The upper deck provides a panoramic terrace, complete with a grill and bar area, relaxation zones, and an optional projector setup for outdoor entertainment. At the bow, a concealed lounge area with a Jacuzzi and sun pad remains hidden during navigation, maintaining the yacht’s sleek profile while enhancing onboard luxury at anchor.
